DWV hangers

What are you guys (gals) using to hang pvc or abs waste pipe with? I was a little surprised when I asked at one of the supply houses ( a fairly reputable one) what they had for hangers and they said most of the guys were using p-tape. I haven't done much residential in the last 10 yrs but we always used zip strips or something like those.
