Copper pipe for condensation drain

I have a copper pipe that serves as the condensation drain for my furnace/central air unit. The pipe leads into concrete and into a drain in the garage. The pipe has a large hole at the base where it enters the concrete. Is there an easy fix? Just lengthen the pvc drain pipe from the HVAC?
