Possible that downstairs neighbors connected to my water heater???
Hi. I want to thank all who read this and help with any info
Ive lived here 15 years but just noticed my heater makes noise when neighbors run their water. They ran bath and my heater was in sync when they turned off and then on/off again
I turned off red knob last night. I had cold water for awhile... Its now hot again!!
Now im really confused. I also do not have a knob for water supply (cold water).. Its just "wires" coming thru wall . a shady landlord once owned both units so i really need to know what to do at this point.
