Auto feed on Electric eel D-5

I got my D-5 cable switched out to a new one ,it seams like the auto feed works better.But I noticed it has a little trouble retrieving from 100 ft. I looked at the bearings on the autofeed that run the cable and they dont appear to be worn ,does anyone have any advice or is that sorta thing common as the auto feed wears out? are there any good online resources on how to rebuild one?Sorry for my ignorance I'm new to autofeed ,I'm almost done with my model R manual feed.
