Greetings from Western Canada
A little about myself, I'm originally from Montreal but was raised mostly in South Florida. After high school, I went the traditional route of university and became an engineer (that lasted two years because I hated it plus I had full scholarship so no student loans). I became frustrated not having any backup plan, I decided to move back to Montreal. I spent two years there working odd jobs before I encountered a forum that had tradesmen working in Alberta from all over the world. I packed my bags 2 months later and made my way to Edmonton,Alberta on the greyhound no less, it took three days. Within the month of being there, I was hired by one of the most well known plumbing company in town.
So I've been plumbing for five years now doing mainly commercial (recreational centers, hotels, school renovations, museum, malls, casino libraries, government facilities renovation where you couldn't even move a chair two inches without getting authorization. I've done a little bit of service and I'm always eager to learn more to master this trade.
I'm going to school in March for my Journeyman plumbing/gasfitting ticket.
I hope I didn't ramble too much. Happy to converse and contribute with little I know. Y'all stay safe out there.
