Delta does not sell pivot rod for plastic pu

have been trying to find pivot rods for Delta's plastic popups (RP62472, RP 41587). since they slowly deteriorate. finally gave up and called Delta. Delta said there is no replacement pivot rod. need to buy whole popup assembly, they said.
