Nightmare heater thread. Residential or commercial

Here was mine today. Guessing 40’s maybe 50’s Rheem electric. Other than Rheem and the plumber who installed it, no other information on it. Check out the plumbers phone number! Not only the heater, but entire potable repipe. Started at 8:30, done by 2. Second floor was already copper to the basement, but we did have to leave to get the heater because we didn’t know if she wanted to stay electric or switch to power vent... about an hour wasted.

One heavy SOB! Between my Master (59) and I (40) it was two steps at a time before a 45 second break. I had to take a 15 after we got it up and out! My guess is it was between 600 and 700 pounds.

I had a main line afterwards. I had to have my Master help me get my 6200 up the stairs. My legs felt like jello.

Managed to still get home and shower for my son’s birthday dinner!
