Cider

Thought it was a good idea. Master has a 25-30’ cider apple tree, not apple pie tree. Most were cut down during prohibition. Nice apples, good flavor, but an extra two hours a day with help.... $8 for 2 gallons for uv pasteurized cider.... I’m thinking I’ll still do it next year, but apple wine instead. Let it age. Cider needs to age, but the time I’m putting into it, not worth it for regular hard cider. Blueberries turned out awesome though!

Going to finish a few small batches, including a gallon batch of heat pasteurized cider for my kid’s classmates for his birthday party.
