red guard?? anyone use it?

I have a possible upcoming town job with a contractor I do a bunch of work with for a handicapped bathroom reno and they want the bathroom floor to run flat into the shower area and the whole floor is to be done with red guard, like a giant shower pan...yeah what can go wrong with that..lol..but the contractor said they will lower the floor in the shower area to accommodate the mud job and slope the floor downward to a drain so the water doesnt run out the door..im just putting the drain in and the contractor can play with the red guard stuff, but I said I would look into it a little.. so any issues or problems that you heard of?
