Who do you use to supply your filtration needs?

My supplier carries U.V. lights and basic sediment stuff, but Im just wondering if anyone uses any different route for taking care of nasty water.

I know there have been issues with my past employer with water treatment and some really bad water where our supplier said it was untreatable even after we had installed several different filtration units inline that they had recommended, and the customer went with a different company and got their water issue taken care of.
