Petrol tank plumbing
Hi, currently the tank has a 15mmOd pipe sticking out the bottom of it, external threaded to fit a petcock.
But i dont have room under the tank at that point, so I want to make a 90 bend immediatly, and figure out the rest from there.
Best option would be to cutoff the existing pipe and weld a 90 degree turn in its place.
But you can see why im looking for alternatives 😛
If you guys know a slim- fitting thingy that can screw onto the existing pipe, that would be welcome (i’d chop the pipe as short as possible)
Or i can tap the inside of the pipe if required, but I’d hope to keep 8mm id on amy fitting id use
Or chop out the pipe and use something that will fit blind (i cant really reach inside the tank)
Basically, i want to get the 90 degree bend as close to the tank as possible.
What do you guys recommend?
