Copper DWV under slab?
I was called out to do a camera inspection yesterday by a customer whos first guy rented a rodder and cleared the main.
Anyways I had to rod the line just to do the inspection, and he missed all the roots on all the sections of clay pipe.
The main stack is copper dwv piping and it didnt appear to transition to cast when it hit the slab. The piping under her slab is crushed, deformed and in really bad shape and there is a tub on the basement level that would not drain and was backed up with sewage.
Has anyone seen dwv copper under a slab?
I informed her that she would need to tear out the bathroom and have the slab removed and the piping replaced with PVC.
