Acrylic shower base repair?

Does anyone here know how to repair a small chip in an acrylic shower base? At work we would maybe be able to call in a repair guy. I'm remodeling my mother in law's new place and just put in a shower base but I live far enough away from work that it would be expensive to have the repair guy come all the way up here for a small chip. I was hoping to be able to repair it myself but I'm not sure what product to use. I would also simply like to be able to add that skill to things I'm able to do.
